The short version
FushaLoop collects only the information needed to run accounts, save learning progress, provide speaking review, and manage subscriptions.
- We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not save microphone recordings to your FushaLoop account or learning history.
- Signed-in speaking audio is processed to create a transcript. The transcript and review result may be saved when you complete a practice attempt.
- You may ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your account information by emailing support.
Who we are and what this covers
FushaLoop is an independently operated learning service. In this Policy, “FushaLoop,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to FushaLoop as the operator of fushaloop.com and its related learning and billing services.
This Policy covers information processed through the FushaLoop website, account features, lessons, AI-assisted speaking review, support, Checkout, and billing portal. It does not govern a third-party website or service that has its own privacy policy.
Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, account dates | Create and secure your account, send sign-in links, and provide support |
| Learning activity | Unit and item practiced, selected or typed response, transcript, match score, correct or incorrect result, review status, timestamps | Save history, build your review queue, and track mastery |
| Speaking usage | Daily AI-review count, plan at the time of a request, audio submitted for transcription | Transcribe a speaking attempt, apply usage limits, and prevent abuse |
| Subscription | Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, status, renewal date, cancellation status | Activate and manage Pro access |
| Support | Messages you send us and information needed to investigate the request | Respond, resolve billing or account problems, and improve support |
| Technical and security | IP address, browser or device type, request time, error and security logs | Deliver the service, diagnose failures, and protect FushaLoop and its users |
Information we intentionally avoid
FushaLoop does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Stripe handles payment details. FushaLoop does not use microphone audio to identify you, create a voiceprint, or infer sensitive traits. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.
Microphone, transcripts, and AI
Microphone access is optional. You can use typed Arabic when microphone access is unavailable or you prefer not to provide audio.
When you are signed in
Your browser records an attempt of up to 12 seconds and sends it securely to FushaLoop. Vercel’s AI Gateway routes it to OpenAI’s speech-transcription service. FushaLoop uses the returned text to compare transcript words with the lesson target. FushaLoop does not place the recording in account storage, the learning database, or your attempt history.
Our providers may process request and security metadata under their own service terms. Vercel states that its gateway layer deletes prompt and output content after a request completes. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default and currently lists the audio-transcription endpoint as having no application-state or abuse-monitoring retention. Provider practices can change, so we review these disclosures when the service changes.
When you are signed out
If your browser supports built-in speech recognition, the browser or operating-system provider may process audio to return a transcript. That processing is controlled by the provider you use, not by FushaLoop, and is subject to its privacy settings and policy.
What the review means
Current scoring compares recognized transcript words with the target. It does not analyze a voiceprint, determine identity, or provide a complete phonetic assessment. Automated scores only organize learning review; they do not produce legal or similarly significant decisions.
How and why we use information
We use personal information to provide lessons and accounts, authenticate users, save progress, deliver speaking transcription, administer free and Pro usage, process subscriptions, prevent fraud, maintain security, respond to support, comply with law, and improve reliability.
Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract to deliver account and subscription features; your consent when you choose microphone access or optional Google sign-in; our legitimate interests in security, support, service improvement, and enforcing our Terms; and legal obligations for tax, accounting, payment, or lawful requests. You may withdraw microphone permission in your browser at any time.
No sale or targeted advertising
FushaLoop does not sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use transcripts or learning mistakes to advertise to you.
Because we do not sell or share personal information in this way, FushaLoop does not currently need a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out mechanism. If that practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide the controls required by law before the change takes effect.
How long we keep information
- Account and learning records: while your account remains active, so your history and review queue continue to work.
- Audio recordings: not saved to your FushaLoop account or learning database; held only long enough to complete the transcription request.
- Transcripts and attempt results: until the related account is deleted or you ask us to delete eligible records.
- Billing and transaction records: for the period reasonably needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and other legal obligations.
- Security and error logs: for limited operational periods set by our infrastructure providers, unless longer retention is needed to investigate abuse or comply with law.
After a verified account-deletion request, we aim to remove active account and learning records within 30 days. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until they rotate out, and we may retain limited records where law, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution requires it.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted network transport, secret-key separation, signed Stripe webhooks, managed authentication, and database access rules designed to protect account and learning information. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe rather than stored in FushaLoop.
No online system can guarantee absolute security. Use a secure email account for passwordless sign-in and contact us promptly if you believe your FushaLoop account has been accessed without permission.
Your privacy rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to provide access to, correct, export, or delete eligible personal information associated with your account. You may also object to or ask us to restrict certain processing. Applicable law may provide additional rights.
- Sign out to end the current account session.
- Disable microphone permission through your browser or device settings.
- Cancel a subscription through the Stripe billing portal from your FushaLoop dashboard.
- Email support@fushaloop.com from your account email to request access, correction, export, or deletion.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will use verification information only for that purpose. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the applicable reason and any appeal option required by law.
California, U.S. state, and EEA/UK notices
California and other U.S. states
In the preceding 12 months, FushaLoop has collected the categories described above: identifiers, internet or device activity, commercial or subscription information, learning activity, audio-derived transcript information, and inferences limited to review or mastery status. We disclose these categories to service providers for the business purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell or share these categories for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If a state privacy law applies to FushaLoop and to your request, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a decision. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted; we may require proof of authority and identity verification.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. FushaLoop is operated in the United States, so information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, using contractual and legal safeguards required by applicable law.
Children
FushaLoop is designed primarily for adult and older-teen learners and is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 must not create an account, subscribe, or submit personal information. Users aged 13 through 17 may use FushaLoop only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to the Terms.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact support@fushaloop.com. We will investigate and delete the information when required.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as FushaLoop’s features, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised date here. If a change materially affects how we use existing personal information, we will provide additional notice through the service or account email when required.
